Attorney Susan James tells WSFA 12 news former Governor Don Siegelman has reached his permanent holding facilty in Oakdale, Louisana.
Siegelman told James Tuesday afternoon there is a prison camp at the detention facility.
Currently he is working to establish his phone and visitors list and the ability to work with this attorneys on his bond, pending appeal.
But even James says she was surprised to learn Siegelman was transferred to Louisana.
Former Louisana Governor Edwin Edwards is also incarcerated in the Oakdale Prison Facility.
