Defense attorneys in the case of Brent Springford Junior say the trial has been so publicized they want the trial moved out of Montgomery.
They filed for a change of venue Monday morning saying because of media attention it will be difficult to seat an impartial jury. Prosecutors say the case should be heard in Montgomery County.
Judge William Shashy will make a decision and set a trial date shortly.
Brent Springford is accused of murdering his parents in their upscale Montgomery Home in 2004.
