Enterprise Football Field Ready For 2007 Season; Plans Announced For School

WSFA 12 News has confirmed Bates Memorial Football Stadium in Enterprise has new lights and a new scoreboard and Enterprise High School will play there this year.

A tornado devastated the field in March. The same twister killed 8 students.

The school system has also signed a contract to tear down what's left of the original school. The mayor also says Hillcrest Elementary students will go to school at the new early childhood center when school starts, instead of at Holly Hill Elementary, where they were sent after the twister hit.

The mayor says the city will hold a large pre-school church service on August 8th on the football field. Everyone is invited.
