It's incredibly sad to hear stories of violence, especially violence against children such as the recent triple murder/suicide involving three children and their father.
As officials continue to sort through information related to this case, and professionals explore ways to prevent future tragedies of this magnitude, one thing we can do for certain is raise awareness of the crisis line that will connect victims to the local domestic violence shelter and related services.

I'm Bob Ramsey...2007 River Region United Way Campaign Chairman. My job is not to raise money and meet our six million dollar goal, but to make sure that the Family Sunshine Center and the other 47 United Way agency partners are there to offer help every day to anyone who needs them in the River Region.
