Enterprise Goes Back to School

Call it a new beginning, a new day in Enterprise.

The first day of school was held Thursday and the feeling among students and residents is that it's time to move forward and look ahead.

It has been a rough road for students in Enterprise over the last 5 months.

On March 1st a tornado ripped through the town destroying the high school

The took the lives of eight students, and severely damaged Hillcrest Elementary.

Today the focus has shifted.

Students are once again loading up school books and heading back to class.

And FEMA is back in town. The organization is making new estimates before they tear down what's left of the schools.

WSFA 12 News talked to EHS Principal Rick Rainer and many of the parents as well.
