Montgomery Man Convicted of Identity Theft

A Montgomery man is sentenced to 3 years in jail after being convicting of 51 counts of mail fraud and one count of identity theft.

26-year-old Ryan Rockmore pleaded guilty to fraudulent accounts connected with military victims currently or previously stationed at two U.S Air Force bases in Florida.

At least 30 of the victims were deployed to the Middle East at the time their identities were stolen.

Rockmore says he stole the information from his girlfriend who was stationed at one of the Florida bases.
