Hyundai COO Resigns

More changes at the top for Hyundai Motor Company's American Division.

Chief Operation Officer Steve Wilhite is out. He resigned after it became apparent that Hyundai was not meeting its ambitious U.S. sales goal of more than half a million cars.

Many of those cars are made right here in Montgomery at Hyundai's only North American plant. So far, sales are off by about .2%.

Wilhite may move to Ford Motor Company, which has been searching for a new Marketing Director.
