Tuskegee Wins Again

TUSKEGEE , Ala. (AP) - Jacary Atkinson completed 14-of-23 passes for 197 yards and three touchdowns as Tuskegee defeated Concordia-Selma 42-9.

Atkinson led the Tigers with his passing and his running in Saturday's game. He rushed for 39 yards.

That included a 32-yard touchdown run that gave Tuskegee a 21-7 lead early in the second quarter.

Tuskegee (4-0) has won its four games this season by an average margin of 33 points.

Stephen Freeman was the leading rusher for the Tigers. He ran for 56 yards on 5 carries. The Tigers got on the board early in the first quarter on a 3-yard-run by John Pascley.

Concordia-Selma (1-5) tied the score midway through the first quarter on a 23-yard pass from Anthony Gibson to Eric Taylor.

But the Tigers dominated after that and outscored the Hornets 35-2 the remainder of the game.
