Wilcox County Woman Convicted in Husband's Stabbing Death

A Wilcox County woman was convicted Wednesday of manslaughter in the stabbing death of her husband.

Jurors deliberated for two hours before handing down the verdict.

Mary Tate stabbed her husband Michael Tate in January, 2006.

Mr. Tate,a stroke victim, was attempting to order products for his health when the two began fighting.

That's when Mrs. Tate stabbed her husband.

Tate could face up to twenty years in prison when she is sentencing is handed down.

Meanwhile, she is out of jail on bond.
