Food was the focus at Southside Church of Christ Friday - which attracted a crowd of almost 300 people for its weekly food giveaway.
Church members set up the food bank each week to help community members who are struggling to make ends meet.
The church says it one way to carry out its mission of helping others.
The Southside Church of Christ works with the City of Montgomery's Food Bank System.
If you are in need you can apply Wednesday at the church from 9-12am and 4-5:30pm, and pick up the food on Friday mornings.
