Limestone County Inmate Dies

Athen, Ala. Oct. 22, 2007 -- An Athens man with a history of heart problems collapsed and died in the Limestone County Jail.

Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely says 57-year-old Larry King apparently suffered a heart attack after standing up from a chair Saturday morning.

Since King was an inmate, an autopsy will be performed.

He was serving time for driving under the influence.

The sheriff said king had heart problems and had been taken to a doctor earlier in the week.
