WSFA 12 News and WSFA.com are following a developing story in Montgomery.
A tractor-trailer crashed through a guardrail on the East Boulevard around 2:00pm Thursday.
The driver of the 18-wheeler tells WSFA 12 News that he was answering a cell phone call when his truck crashed.
The truck came to rest on a hill between two overpasses on the East Boulevard at Wares Ferry Road.
The driver says he accidently dropped the cell phone and was attempting to pick it up when the accident occured.
A fuel spill was quickly contained and no injuries were reported.
Traffic is moving slowly through the area.
