WSFA 12 Update: Man Police Say Beat and Burned Dog in Court

We have a WSFA 12 news update on a man police say beat and burned the family dog.

Juan Daniels was in court Friday morning, trying to get his $50-thousand dollar bond reduced.

The judge denied his request, and now he's back in jail.

Daniels is accused of beating and burning Louis Vitton, the pit bull that's gained national attention.

We're told several folks close to the Montgomery Humane Shelter were in court protesting Daniels' request
