William Boyd Plans Congressional Run

Former mayoral candidate William Boyd says he's going to try running for another public office.

This time he plans a congressional run.

Boyd lost his bid to become mayor of Montgomery to incumbent Bobby Bright.

He says now he plans to run for U.S. House District two, which is being vacated by Terry Everett who plans to retire at the end of his current term.

Boyd says he doesn't know whether he'll run as a Democrat or a Republican.
