20-Year-Old Woman Becomes Montgomery's 42nd Homicide Victim of 2007

Montgomery police have made an arrest in the city's 42nd murder of year.

Police believe 25-year-old Daoud Boone shot and killed his financee, 20-year-old Sylvia Perry, shortly after midnight.

The homicide took place outside Igor's Restaurant on the Eastern Boulevard while Perry was sitting in a car.

Witnesses at the scene took Perry to Baptist South Hospital where she was pronounced dead a

short time later.

Police found Boone at his Montgomery home.

He is now charged with capital murder.
