Tracy Larkin Could Get Kicked Out Of Senate Race

The location of his house is apparently going to keep Montgomery City Councilman Tracy Larkin out of the running for State Senate in District 26. Its been discovered that he does not live within the district.

Apparently Larkin lives on street that serves as the dividing lines between Districts 25 and 26. And the first-year city Councilman lives on the wrong side of the street, making him ineligible for the office. There's reportedly nothing Larkin can do to get his name on the ballot at this point, because state law requires a candidate to live in a district for at least a year.

    The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran away from the scene of a deadly crash in George County. Three children were killed in the crash. Troopers said a green 2003 Kia Optima was heading east on Highway 198, east of Depot Road, shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
