Governor Lights State Christmas Tree

The Governor and his wife lit the state capitol Christmas tree on Friday night.

Hundreds of people gathered to watch the Governor and the First Lady flip the switch. The 57th annual event took place on the steps of the State Capitol. The 45-foot tall Eastern red Cedar was taken from state-owned land on U.S. Highway 80 in Montgomery County.
