Thanks to all of you who are helping make the holiday season brighter for needy youngsters in our area.
You generously contributed more than 3,000 toys in our 12's Day of Giving effort.
In addition, between this event and our summer Food and Fund Drive, you contributed more than 200,000 pounds of food to the Montgomery Area Food Bank.
Many of you are also participating in your church efforts this month to assist others in need - as you do throughout the year.
Many of you have also donated money to the United Way and other groups to help better the lives of thousands of people in our area.
You know that it feels much better to give than receive.
And our region is a better place because of your generosity.
