"MANE" Receives Federal Funding

An outdoor classroom with a cause is getting a boost from Capitol Hill.   The Montgomery Area Nontraditional Equestrians, or more commonly called MANE, wants to build a new barn and classroom complex.  Thanks to a $97,000 appropriation from Congress. The organization provides therapeutic horseback riding to Montgomery residents with disabilities.

Congressman Mike Rogers says this funding is one of his top priorities for Montgomery County this year.   The bill passed the House of Representatives late Wednesday.
