AU Pharmacy School Temporarily Issues Security Alert

Jan. 23, 2008

AUBURN, Al (WTVM) - Access to Auburn University's pharmacy school was restricted Wednesday because of security concerns.

Security alerts were posted around the Harrison School of Pharmacy, but there was no real danger to students, faculty or staff. A university spokesperson says a person, living out-of-state and not accepted into the school, contacted administrators.

The communication was in such a manner that they increased security, but only as a precaution. The person is not in the area, and school access was returned to normal by Wednesday night.
