Two Super Bowl Players Hail from Coosa County!

So too is the jersey of Justin Tuck. So too is the jersey of Justin Tuck.

Rockford, Ala. (WSFA) -- How would you like to be Justin Tuck? 24 years old and just signed a $30 million contract!

He's also featured in this week's edition of  "Sports Illustrated".

Believe it or not Justin's not the only player from his "Fever Country" high school on his way to the Super Bowl!

What are the odds that the small town of Rockford, Alabama at Central Coosa High School two former Cougars, cousins in fact, Justin Tuck and Adalius Thomas are about to play each other in the Super Bowl?

Adonis Thomas, Adalius Thomas' father say he is excited for both men, the school and even the county.

Both men have their football jersey's retired. Both were also on state championship basketball teams.

Now, they are NFL superstars, and no one is prouder than their fathers.

Jimmy Tuck, Justin Tuck's father says, "As a young man, he don't make a lot of noise. He's a humble kid, and he don't like to be in the limelight."

"He's a kind, generous person. He's one that always shows himself friendly; he's one that always meets you with a smile," say Mr. Thomas of his son.

Not only do Thomas and Tuck have proud fathers, they both have a sister going to Central Coosa High as well.

Neither Ashia Thomas nor Brittany Tuck can wait til February 3rd.

Ashia and Brittany have been friends since kindergarten, but come Super Bowl Sunday each will be rooting for their own team!

But, they remind us that they are winners regardless of who wins.

Coosa Central is a small school making a super impact.
