BMW of Montgomery Faces Growing Pains

MONTGOMERY, AL. - Central Alabama's largest BMW dealership is having the kind of growing pains general manager John Lonergan likes to see.  The service and parts departments at BMW of Montgomery are currently undergoing a more than $1 million renovation that will double the size of the service area and more than double the parts department.  Once completed, the expansion is expected to create a minimum of 20 new jobs at the dealership.  Mr. Lonergan assures customers that there will be no interruption of service while the renovation is being completed.

The renovation, scheduled for completion by the end of June, will boost the number of service bays from 10 to 20. Two detail and wash bays will be added as well as three separate bays that will be dedicated solely to diagnostics.

According to Mr. Lonergan, "Since we took over the BMW franchise a little more than two years ago, we've placed tremendous emphasis on improving customer satisfaction, particularly in the service area. We're extremely excited about this renovation and the added benefits it's going to bring to our customers.  Since we'll now be able to service twice as many BMWs in the same amount of time, you might say we'll be delivering twice the satisfaction."
