Team A and W's Not Your Usual Pizza

Recipe from Jane Wheeler of Englewood, OH

Prep Time:  About 2 hrs
Total Time: 2 1/2 - 3 hours Ingredient List and Recipe Steps:

Dough:
3 cups flour
1 cup water- temp about 110-115 degrees
1 pkg yeast (disolved in the water)
pinch of salt
mix above ingredients for dough and knead for at least 10 minutes-minimum, set aside and let rise for appox 2 hours.

Sauce:

1 large onion & 1/2-1 green pepper (cut in strips)
1 12 oz can diced tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
1 12 oz can tomato puree

Saute onions and green peppers in small amount of olive oil until softened.  Add diced tomatoes and simmer for 1/2 hour.  Then add the tomato puree and tomato paste and simmer for another 1/2 hour.  Set aside.

Toppings:
1 pkg of Colby Longhorn cheese, shredded
1 pkg of Pepperoni , thinly sliced
1 small jar sliced mushrooms

When dough has risen (about double bulk or more), then spread out in a large jelly roll pan (cookie sheet with sides)  which has been greased with crisco.  Spread the sauce onto the dough, then top with the mushrooms, pepperoni and lastly the shredded cheese.

Bake at 375 degrees (mid oven) for approx 1/2 hour or so.  Slice into squares and serve.

(Can add cooked sausage or other ingredients that you like, if you wish).  If you can't find Colby Longhorn can use Longhorn/Jack mix (already shredded!).

Yield: 1 pizza will serve about 4 people

Comments: Some people love it and Others hate it!  Up for the challenge?

In Italian, the word "gelato" means "frozen" more than it means "ice cream." So, for as much as we have heard that gelato is the Italian equivalent of ice cream, this "gelato" is really a frozen mousse
In Italian, the word "gelato" means "frozen" more than it means "ice cream." So, for as much as we have heard that gelato is the Italian equivalent of ice cream, this "gelato" is really a frozen mousse of a dessert. Quick and easy, with no ice cream maker needed, this dessert may be served as a chilled mousse or frozen completely as a "gelato."

Celebrate warm weather with nature's sweet berries. Simply served with a light dusting of powdered sugar, this dessert is not a sugar overload, because it relies on the natural sweetness of in-season berries.

Here is smoky and slightly spicy twist on fried catfish. Instead of coating the catfish in a thick beer batter, I marinate the raw pieces in beer before seasoning them and lightly dredging them in flour
