Prattville, Al. -- Whitney National Bank announced today that it has re-opened the drive-thru windows at the McQueen Smith Crossing Branch. Although the structure was damaged by a recent tornado, Whitney clients in the Prattville area can now resume banking at the drive-thru lanes, located at 1881 East Main Street.
"Re-opening our Mc Queen Smith Crossing Branch drive-thru represents a big step toward the restoration of the McQueen Smith Branch and a return to normal banking convenience for our customers," said Gene Crane, Central Alabama Regional President. "Now that we have resumed drive-thru banking we are turning our focus to re-opening the bank lobby. We are confident that we can accomplish this well before the completion of the building's exterior repairs. Whitney Bank has weathered many storms and served generations of clients for the past 125 years. We're hopeful that the return of our Whitney Bankers to the East Main Street location can assist local businesses and families on their own road to recovery."
Banking hours for the drive-thru lanes are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. on Fridays. Whitney anticipates that ATM banking will also be available at the McQueen Smith Crossing Branch in the coming days.
