22-year old Arrested for Allegedly Stealing on Auburn Campus

Auburn, Al. (WSFA) -- Auburn police have arrested a 22-year old man for allegedly stealing on the campus of Auburn University.

Police arrested Adrian Jerell Allen of Auburn on Tuesday.

He is charged with Theft of Property1st Degree, Theft of Property 3rd Degree and Harassment.

The arrest stems from the investigation into two thefts that occurred on the Auburn University campus earlier in the afternoon.

Allen was contacted in the area by police after being observed stealing a personal laptop computer from the Ralph B. Draughon library.

He had also allegedly stolen textbooks from a second victim.

Allen was transported to the Lee County jail where he is being held without bond.
