Covering Pike County: Highway 231 Resurfacing Project

Troy, Al. (WSFA) -- The State Department of Transportation is about to begin resurfacing five miles of a busy stretch of Highway 231 in Troy.

Crews will began the project on Monday.

The area they are working on starts just south of the Wal-Mart and heads north.

Work is expected to last about 85 days and during this time traffic will be reduce to just one lane.
