Suspect Arrested in Weekend Shooting at Igor's Restaurant

Montgomery, Al. (WSFA) -- A suspect is now in custody connected to Saturday's shooting at Igor's restaurant in Montgomery that left two people seriously injured.

Twenty-one year old Javarius Darnell Foster of 3671 Southmont Drive, Montgomery turned himself in to police around 4p.m. Wednesday.

Foster is charged with Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree and Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling.

Witnesses told police they saw three or four men arguing with a security guard at Igor's Restaurant on on the Eastern Blvd around 3:30 in the morning. As the suspects left the scene shots were fired into the building, and two customers inside were shot in the head.

One of those victims is in critical-life threatening condition at Baptist Hospital, the other is listed in serious condition with moderate injuries.

Foster is being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility on a $75,000 bond.

Police are still looking for other suspects in the case though it is not clear if more charges will be filed.
