Montgomery city leaders put out the call on Thursday.
Pastor Kyle Searcy of Freewill Baptist Church, Mayor Bobby Bright and others were on hand to invite everyone in the commnuity to join them at an event next month to mark the 40th year since the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
