Autauga County school officials officially broke ground on the county's new high school today in pine level.
The 15 million dollar facility will house about 800-hundred students. The school's superintendent says about 200 of the students will come from Prattville High School, and another 100 that graduate from Prattville Middle School.
The new school will have some of the latest in high tech classroom technology. Superintendent Larry Butler says this new school is badly needed considering 24 new subdivisions are being built in that area.
