A few weeks ago while gassing up, I was mortified by the sound of booming base coming from an SUV parked in front of the Gas Station Door.
After paying for my gas, I stopped by the SUV and motioned for the young lady behind the wheel to turn down her music so I could speak to her.
I asked her if she knew Montgomery had a "Noise Pollution Law".
She said no and I told her there was a $150 fine if her car could be heard more than 3 feet away.
We don't apply this law nearly enough anymore.
I ask parents, teens, and citizens to turn the volume down, not just for my hearing but for yours as well.
