Two Arrested in Monday Night Shooting

Montgomery, Al. (WSFA) --  Montgomery police have made two arrests in a shooting that happened in the southeast part of the city Monday night.

Police arrested 37-year old Carl Hudson and 34-year old Lorenzo Hooks.

The men are accused of shooting a 21-year old man in the 4900 block of Plaza Drive on May 5th.

The victim says three men approached him in the parking lot of Cypress Court Apartment Homes and shot hime once in the foot and twice in the hip.

The third suspect was not charged because he was only a witness to the crime.

Hudson was out of jail on bond in connection with a 2007 murder. 

Both Hudson and Hooks are now in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on 2nd Degree Assault charges.
