Three Suspects Arrested on Robbery, Theft, and Harassment Charges

Auburn, Al. (WSFA) -- Auburn police officers have arrested three suspects on robbery, theft and harrassment charges after several reports on Tuesday night.

Michael Kenna, age 21, and two 17-year-old male juveniles, all of Opelika, are charged with Robbery 2nd Degree, Theft of Property 3rd Degree and Harassment

The arrests stem from the investigation of three incidents that occurred on the same date.

Police say arounda 8:00 p.m. say 22-year-old man reported that he had been struck in the face and robbed of his i-pod on South College Street.

About an hour later a 19-year-old male victim reported that he had been struck in the face while on North Donahue Drive but no property was taken from him.

Both victims were able to give police a description of the three suspects and a short time later Kenna and the two juveniles were taken into custody in the downtown area.

Neither victim required medical treatment.

The three suspects are also involved in a theft that occurred earlier the day while in the 2000 block of Indian Hill Road.

The suspects allegedly stole three full gas cans from the bed of a pickup truck in that case.
