Well you know what they say-being prepared pays. It could pay pretty well at the post office if you buy into their new program.
On Monday, the stamp price will increase from 41 cents to 42 cents.
However, the postal service is offering what they are calling "Forever Stamps".
These are stamps that you can buy for 41 cents now, or 42 cents Monday, and they will be good, well, forever.
The post office has had the Forever Stamp program in place since last April, and they say they have already sold 5 billion of the stamps.
As a result of a new law, stamp prices will now be adjusted every May-so stock up and save some cash!
