Wetumpka Junior High Students Admit to Breaking into School

3 Wetumpka Junior High School students are in trouble after admitting to breaking into their school.

Police got a call from the school just after 6:00 a.m. on Monday. Investigators combed over the school's surveillance video and shortly after that the students confessed to the crime.

Officials with the Wetumpka Police Department say the students are charged with burglary and criminal mischief. A 14-year-old is currently at the Wetumpka juvenile facility and the other two are at home until their case is heard in juvenile court.
