A Macon County man accused of neglecting animals is cleared of all charges. A lawyer for Anthony Keith Story says his client is now working to clear his name. Last December investigators found the bones of a dead horse allegedly on Story's property in Shorter. Officers later confiscated his other horses and arrested him for animal cruelty. During the trial, the judge, acting on a request from the prosecutor, dismissed all charges, because the dead horse did not belong to Story and the other animals were well taken care of. Story now says, "he just wants his named cleared now." He also tells WSFA 12 News he plans on suing the state.
