Dothan Police Make A Number Arrests

Dothan, Ala. (WSFA) -- Dothan police arrest a number of suspects in recent robberies in the city.

Police Chief John Powell credits good old fashioned police legwork with the arrests.

"It' not just the Criminal Investigations Division, it's also the patrol officers, and sometimes its just that little lead that culminates in the arrest and clearance of a case," said Chief Powell.

Police charged three men in the robbery of the Hobo Pantry on the Ross Clark Circle.

Bryson Dejaun Turner was arrested for robbery first degree and possession of marijuana.

Brothers Carcy Jermaine Thomas and Richard Thomas were also arrested for robbery first degree.

All three are in the Houston County jail.

Marvin Franchez Lewis is also in the Houston County jail.

Officers charged him with the robbery of a Taco Bell restaurant on March 23rd.

Police are looking for more suspects, including Charles Montez Snell, he's wanted for a robbery at Martin Homes.

Two juveniles have already been arrested in that case.

Police ask that if you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Charles Snell to call Dothan Crimestoppers at 793-7000.
