Covering Houston County: Phase Two of Circle City Crackdown Leads to More Arrests

Phase two of Dothan's  "Circle City Crackdown" landed 15 more people in jail during the ongoing drug operation.   Since April 25th 31 ounces of marijuana, 8 grams of powder cocaine, 29 grams of crack cocaine and pills have been recovered. Police have also recovered of $21,000 in cash, weapons and vehicles. Dothan Police Chief John Powell says ,"there are a lot of man hours that are put in, these guys have spent a lot of time away from their families, they've spent a lot of time working night and day trying to put this thing together. In fact they were out late last night trying to round all these people up."   The district attorney is trying to seize the recovered cash so police can use it to buy more crime fighting equipment.
