Auburn, Al. (WSFA) -- The suspect in last month's stabbing at an Auburn apartment complex is now facing Attempted Murder charges.

The Auburn Police Division arrested 20-year old Johnathon Sepp Etterer, of Birmingham, Alabama, and charged him with Attempted Murder.

Etterer was identified as a suspect in a stabbing incident that occurred at the Edge Apartments on South College Street on April 16.

He turned himself in to Auburn police the following day.

Etterer was originally arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree after he stabbed his room mate, 20-year-old Richard K. Straus.

A recent Grand Jury heard the evidence and indicted Etterer for Attempted Murder.

His bond was set at $25,000.
