New Developments in Pike Road Zoning Controversy

There are new developments on a zoning controversy in Pike Road.

On Tuesday, the planning commission approved a recommendation to rezone 14 acres of land at the intersection of Vaughn and Ryan Roads. This means a developer is a step closer to building a 30 home subdivision there, despite some landowners concerns over the land originally being zoned for small residential growth. The final decision now rests with the town council next month.
