WSFA 12 News Update: Freak Storm Downburst Costs City Thousands

Remember the downburst that hit Montgomery two weeks ago? According to officials the storm will cost the city a little more than $107,000. This includes everything from clean-up, to overtime pay for police and fire crews. The downburst caused damage along a 7 mile long, 3 mile wide path from Old Cloverdale neighborhood, in and around Huntingdon College all the way out to the Carriage Hills area in southeast Montgomery.
