Covering Pike County: Woman Suing Troy University Fraternity for Noise Pollution

A Pike County woman has filed suit against a Troy University fraternity. She claims they have harassed her with noise.  Annette White lives near the off-campus Pi Kappa Phi fraternity house.  She has filed more than 20 noise complaints in the past two years, but nothing has changed.  Now, she's moving away because of the problem and asking a judge to force the fraternity to hand over a seven figure settlement for physical and mental abuse.

White also hopes this will help her neighbors saying, "that she hopes the university will listen now...and the city of Troy will help (her) and my neighbors."

The fraternity now has 30 days to respond to the lawsuit.  CEO of Pi Kappa Phi Mark Timmes said, "it is our policy not to comment on pending litigation."
