Alabama Civil Justice Foundation Announces 2008 Grantees

Montgomery, Al. (WSFA) -- The Alabama Civil Justice Foundation is announcing its list of 2008 grantees.

Thirteen Montgomery area programs will recieve moneybetween $3,000 and $55,000 in grant money.

They include the following:

Aid to Inmate Mothers--$5,000
Alabama Shakespeare Festival--$3,000
Child Protect--$4,000
Family Sunshine Center--$4,000
Montgomery AIDS Outreach--$4,000
Partners in Education--$3,000
Success by 6--$4,000
VOICES for Alabama's Children--$5,000
Alabama Network of Children's Advocacy Centers--$7,225
Alabama Appleseed Center for Law & Justice--$22,500
Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Programs--$40,000
Legal Services of Alabama--$55,000

In Autauga County the Autauga County Family Support Center will receive $3,000, and in Elmore County two checks for $4,000 will go to the Alabama Cooperative Extension and the Office of the District Attorney, 19th Judicial Circuit.
