Soul-Full Music Fills Renaissance Performing Arts Center

Dennis Edwards, an original singer for The Temptations, headlined a review in the band's name Saturday night in Montgomery.  The soul-full words of the group entertained hundreds Saturday night at a sold out concert held at the Renaissance Performing Arts Center.

In an exclusive interview, Edwards told WSFA 12 News that  despite all of his fame, he hasn't forgotten his roots.  He went on to say, "he's just proud to be an Alabamian know...I'm not to far from my home, man, and I was born right down the road in Fairfield.  It is really a pleasure being in Montgomery."

Edwards and Otis Miles are the only surviving members of the original Temptations who formed in Detroit in 1960.
