Alabama's attorney general says the U.S. Department of Justice has become an obstacle to investigating allegations of voter fraud in Perry County.
Attorney General Troy King says he has been seeking the reports that Justice Department election monitors filed after observing the primary election June 3 in the west Alabama county. But King says the Justice Department required him to file a request under the Freedom of Information Act to get the reports. So far, they have not been provided.
