Another Boys and Girls Club Vandalized

Montgomery, Al. (WSFA) -- The Boys and Girls Club of South Central Alabama says folks have donated more than $200 after an act of vandalism at the club last week, but news of the generosity was short lived.

Vandals struck another club over the weekend.

This time the target was the Franklin Boys and Girls Club just off Day Street in Montgomery.

Several windows were knocked out, two Coke machines were damaged and the vandals stole a television and air conditioning unit.

Boys and Girls Club officials say it's going to cost them close to a $1,000 to make repairs after this new incident.

That cost does not include the air conditioning unit.

It is not known if the two incidents were related.

If you would like to donate, you can call the Central Alabama Boys and Girls Club at 262-7727.

If you have any information that might help catch the criminals, please call your local police department.
