New Bill Saves Medicaid Millions of Dollars

Montgomery, AL (WSFA) -- President Bush signed a bill today that saves Medicaid agencies millions of dollars.  The bill actually has to do with funding for wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but it includes a special provision that stops changes to Medicaid's reimbursement policies until a new administration is in place.  Now, state's like Alabama can continue to bill Medicaid for support services. The changes would have affected nearly one million people in Alabama.
