Andalusia, Al. (WSFA) -- A 20-year-old Andalusia father is accused of abusing his newborn daughter.
Police say they were called to the home of Robert Seaney (see-knee) after receiving a call that his 2-month old was not breathing.
Seaney later admitted to shaking her when she would not stop crying.
The baby was taken by Life Flight helicopter to a Florida hospital where the staff says she suffered serious physical injuries, some of which may be permanent.
Seaney is in the Covington County jail charged with attempted murder, domestic violence and probation violation.
He is being held without bond on the probation violation.
