Wiregrass Newsroom Update: Two Boys Face Felony Charges in Connection with Dothan House Fire

Dothan, AL (WSFA) -- Two boys, ages 10 and 11, are facing felony charges after authorities say they set off fireworks inside a house on Virginia Avenue in downtown Dothan causing a major fire Wednesday afternoon.

The fire flamed back up again just before midnight on Wednesday.  It took firefighters about an hour before containing that fire.  Fortunately no one civilians were injured during the fire, but officials say one firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.

Police have charged the two boys with 2nd Degree Arson and 3rd Degree Burglary.
