Perry County, Al. (WSFA) -- A storm caused a power surge in Perry County which locked down the voter registration system Thursday night.
Friday, Secretary of State Beth Chapman's office sent help to get the computers back online in the board of registrars, circuit clerk, and probate judge's offices.
Those computers are back up at this time.
Perry County is one of several counties being scrutinized by federal and state voting officials after allegations of irregularities surfaced during the primary voting June 3rd.
