State Senator Harri Anne Smith picked up the endorsements of two mayors and other influential South Alabama Politicians and business leaders. Ozark and Slocomb's Mayors, the Chairman of the Houston County Commission, the President of the Dothan Area County Chamber of Commerce and other leaders showed their support for the state senator on Friday. Ozark's Mayor Bob Bunting says Smith has a good grasp of local politics.
Jay Love recently added the endorsement of Prattville Mayor Jim Byard. Earlier he was endorsed by the Mayor of Wetumpka, Jo Glenn and Elmore County State Representative Barry Mask.
Smith and Love are campaigning full bore until Tuesday's runoff election.
